Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (Regulation O, BSA) and internal policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external credit bureaus and financial institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; MBA preferred
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Credit certification (CRCM or CMB) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and financial statement analysis
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
