Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with detailed risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential issues
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit policies and procedures
- Present findings to credit committees with clear data-driven insights
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial ratios, and risk assessment methodologies
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or similar) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for complex financial presentations
