- Develop detailed credit risk assessments and recommend approval/decline decisions for commercial loans
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit facilities for diverse clients
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signals for potential delinquencies
- Create comprehensive credit memoranda documenting analysis methodologies and risk mitigation strategies
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC) and evolving credit industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and ratio interpretation
- Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and credit risk software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Proven track record in risk assessment for mid-market commercial lending portfolios
- Professional certification (CRCM, CCE) or MBA preferred
