Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and industry risks to recommend credit decisions
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable insights for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Present credit recommendations to credit committee members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit regulations, and risk frameworks
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and market conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CFR (Credit Risk Professional) or CFA designation preferred
- Experience with credit scoring models and loan structuring
