Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable recommendations for lending committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit facilities aligned with client needs
- Stay current on industry regulations and compliance requirements (Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.)
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and participate in portfolio reviews
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit scoring systems
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and cash flow projections
- Industry certifications (CRCM, CMB, or CFA) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
