Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Monitor changes in regulatory laws and legislation to ensure the company remains compliant.
- Investigate potential violations of compliance policies and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related topics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a compliance, auditing, or risk management role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, state banking laws).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Certification such as CFE, CFA, or CCOE is a plus.
