Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to evaluate borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential risks through regular analysis
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication
- Contribute to process improvements in credit analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of accurate risk assessment documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
