Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance programs aligned with federal/state regulations (FinCEN, BSA, AML)
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits for financial products
- Monitor regulatory changes and update policies/procedures accordingly
- Train staff on compliance requirements and ethical standards
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams on compliance initiatives
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of compliance experience in fintech or financial services
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent
- Deep knowledge of CA financial regulations and federal banking laws
- Experience with compliance software (e.g., LogicGate, ComplyAdvantage)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional written communication and report-writing abilities
- Proven ability to work independently in remote environments
