Responsibilities
- Monitor evolving federal and state regulations to ensure full organizational alignment.
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive compliance programs and internal control systems.
- Conduct rigorous internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations or internal policy breaches efficiently.
- Provide expert training and guidance to staff regarding regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and external regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or internal auditing.
- Strong working knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) protocols.
- Professional certifications such as CFE, CAMS, or CRCM are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory data.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
