Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and accounts receivable/payable with 99.9% accuracy
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings for Georgia-based businesses
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual tax season
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in Georgia
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Georgia tax regulations
- Proven track record of reconciling complex multi-entity accounts
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
