Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
- Process payroll and ensure timely vendor payments
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Manage accounts receivable/payable cycles and collections
- Implement QuickBooks optimization and process improvements
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax season
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification (QB ProAdvisor/CPA preferred)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving
- Ability to meet tight weekly deadlines
