Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation
- Implement QuickBooks and Xero systems for clients
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks
- Collaborate with CPAs on year-end procedures
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
