Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process bi-weekly payroll with timely weekly disbursements to employees
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements for clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with automated workflows
- Assist with sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax seasons
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of meeting weekly payroll deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Florida sales tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
