Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process bi-weekly payroll with tax filings for 50+ employees
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Payroll processing certification (e.g., FPC)
- Expert knowledge of sales tax reporting (FL Dept of Revenue)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-volume environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of error-free financial reporting
