Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation for all weekend clients.
- Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Process payroll and time-tracking entries for the upcoming week.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss reports, before the Monday morning close.
- Update and maintain the general ledger with precision.
- Assist with audit preparation and month-end close procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding outstanding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- High attention to detail with a proven track record of error-free data entry.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight weekend deadlines.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
