Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, specifically for the weekend closing cycle.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process payroll and expense reports with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and audit schedules.
- Ensure all financial data is entered into our accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Enterprise) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proven proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Experience with weekend or shift work is highly preferred.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
