Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
- Perform data entry and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) efficiently
- Conduct expense report audits and compliance checks
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Willingness to pursue CPA/CMA certification
