Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with high precision.
- Process payroll and ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end tax documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
- Prepare monthly reports for management review and client presentation.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification.
