Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end/year-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with supporting schedules
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure audit readiness
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Excel for advanced financial analysis
- Train junior bookkeepers on company financial protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QB Online) and Excel
- Proven track record of month-end closing within 3 business days
- Strong understanding of GAAP and sales tax compliance (CO/US)
- Experience with construction or professional services industries preferred
- CPA or equivalent certification highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
