Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 50+ employees
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for executive review
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping in a corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax laws
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
