Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance.
- Perform bank deposits and manage petty cash.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
