Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audit support.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
