Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Process payroll and manage payroll tax filings accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and annual budgets.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
