Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Maintain and update QuickBooks Online databases with precision
- Coordinate with auditors during tax season and financial reviews
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Generate customized financial reports for client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in NYC market
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and NY tax regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly valued
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
