Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex multi-entity accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for C-suite executives
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 99.8% accuracy benchmark
- Oversee payroll processing for 150+ employees across 5 states
- Lead month-end closing procedures with 48-hour turnaround
- Implement SOX compliance protocols and internal controls
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or CPA certification required
- 5+ years experience with multi-state bookkeeping operations
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel VLOOKUPs
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ annual revenue portfolios
- Familiarity with sales tax filing across Washington, Oregon, and California
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Excellent written communication for financial reporting
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
