Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Process monthly/quarterly financial statements for 25+ clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow analysis
- Ensure compliance with Texas state tax regulations and IRS guidelines
- Oversee payroll processing and benefit administration
- Implement QuickBooks optimizations for 15+ SMB clients
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Tax compliance knowledge for Texas-based businesses
- Proven experience with multi-client accounting systems
- Advanced financial reporting and variance analysis skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, QuickBooks ProAdvisor)
