Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll and manage employee time off requests accurately.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, trial balances, and balance sheets.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparations in collaboration with external accountants.
- Monitor and manage expense reports and client budgets.
- Communicate financial insights to clients to help them make informed business decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; prior experience with Sage 50 or NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent certification (NACPB, CPA).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Experience with software such as Bill.com or Expensify is a plus.
