Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to track expenses and budget performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Xero.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA designation is a plus.
