Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and complex account reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing principles, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
