Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation (1099s/W-2s) for the fiscal year-end.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track and update financial data.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines, especially during tax season.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
