Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Implement and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with tax professionals on quarterly filings and year-end documentation
- Train clients on financial software optimization and process improvements
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance for material discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing complex payroll and tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for client training and stakeholder reporting
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms and automation tools
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
