Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow forecasting
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) with quarterly analysis
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ clients
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for diverse industries
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance protocols
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Proven expertise in multi-entity accounting and consolidated reporting
- Certification in QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor or similar
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
