Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and detect anomalies.
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Manage general ledger accounts and maintain accurate fixed asset schedules.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data and calculations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
