Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation processes
- Coordinate payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ clients
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for operational efficiency
- Provide financial consulting and strategic guidance to small business owners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting software
- Proven track record in managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales/use tax and payroll regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
