Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process payroll accurately and timely for multiple entities.
- Assist with tax preparation and year-end audits as required.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain organized financial records.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial guidance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online/Pro or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA, CMA, or EA) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional in-office meetings.
