Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely vendor payments
- Process multi-state payroll and associated tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for client financial operations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across financial processes
- Collaborate with CFOs to develop strategic financial forecasting models
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Proven experience managing multi-state payroll and tax compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for client reporting
