Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and enterprise accounting systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for 15+ clients
- Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations
- Oversee accounts receivable/payable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and IRS regulations
- Proven track record of reducing processing errors by 30%+
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation required
