Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including trial balance preparation.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings and government remittances are up to date.
- Review and code invoices for accuracy and authorization before payment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
