Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (NY, NJ, PA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/yearly tax filings
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and benefit enrollment
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent SaaS platform expertise
- Deep knowledge of NY, NJ, and PA payroll tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation a plus
- Proven ability to maintain 99.9% payroll accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
