Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial statements for 15+ clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Enterprise
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Experience with construction or real estate industries a plus
