Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing procedures
- Generate financial statements and variance reports for executive review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for night shift operations
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping software workflows
- Manage vendor relationships and expense tracking systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift or remote work background
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong analytical skills with high accuracy in financial data handling
- Proven ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a plus
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
