Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform nightly reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll for the night shift workforce accurately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, trial balances, and adjust entries.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial data entry.
- Compliance: Assist in preparing year-end tax packages and maintaining audit trails.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or Xero.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM or similar).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or relevant certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
