Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex multi-entity accounting systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements for 15+ clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing for SMB clients
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online solutions for growing businesses
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for high-risk accounts
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support quarterly tax filings
- Lead financial training sessions for small business owners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Expertise in multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven ability to manage 20+ accounts payable/receivable simultaneously
- Experience with construction or hospitality industry accounting a plus
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation required
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
