Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client reviews
- Assist with quarterly tax preparations and annual audits
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with CPAs on financial strategy and reporting
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (AZ requirements)
- Proven ability to meet monthly deadlines with high accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification required
