Northwest Ledger Services is seeking a detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing finance department. Based in the heart of downtown Seattle, we are looking for a proactive professional to manage our daily financial operations and ensure our clients' books are accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Maintain accurate financial records by performing daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- AP/AR Management: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll for client accounts, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Compliance: Stay updated on tax laws and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to ensure all financial activities remain compliant.
- Software Management: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to maintain client financial data.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage; strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and a strong commitment to financial integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Organization: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA/EA: CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a plus.
