We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team in the heart of Illinois. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll for a small team of 5-10 employees.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparation.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist with general accounting inquiries from staff.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
