Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring timely collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Manage payroll processing for part-time staff.
- Prepare basic financial statements and budgets for management review.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
