Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 98% accuracy rate
- Generate monthly financial reports and variance analyses for client portfolios
- Manage payroll processing for 15-20 employees using ADP platform
- Prepare quarterly tax documents and support annual audits
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies across client accounts
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
