Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while maintaining accurate documentation
- Process payroll and tax filings for multiple business entities
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions for financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to meet daily deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication skills for client reporting and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
