Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 3-5 SMB clients including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Process payroll and tax filings for clients with multi-state operations
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with tax specialists on quarterly estimated tax payments and year-end filings
- Maintain digital client documentation with real-time dashboard updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with SMBs
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Proficient in Excel with advanced formula knowledge and pivot tables
- Familiarity with CA tax regulations and multi-state payroll
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation capabilities
